Thermal heat transfer modeling:
This simulation capability allows us to create thermal models of products to determine their temperature characteristics under various conditions. Such models are typically used in fire analyses to determine if an item under certain electrical or fuel gas loading would become sufficiently hot ignite a fire. These models have also been used in other forensic investigations for use in determining freezing points and or potential thermostat activation times within structures in relation to HVAC fires. The color temperature map graphic images from these models has been found to be highly useful in demonstrating how a thermal incident occurred.
